The second in our series of Walking Through History Trails has been added to the Maritime History Resources page of the website. Waypoints along the route include the former shipbuilding yards on the waterfront and notable buildings such as Cliff House, Salcombe Castle, the mock fort at Limpyer Rocks and the South Sands Boathouse. The trail also tells the story of the Mill Bay Landing Craft slipway and of some of the dramatic wrecks near the entrance to the harbour.
