The first two albums in our exciting new online Virtual Collection have been added to our website  at: Virtual Collection | Salcombe Maritime Museum. The work on preparing the Virtual Collection has been  undertaken as part of our National Heritage Lottery Funded ‘Dynamic Collections Project’. Over the last year or so we have been progressively digitising the objects in our collection and creating object data sheets for posting in albums.  The first two albums are:  ‘Wreck and Rescue’  and ‘The Jack Needham ‘Ship in a Bottle’ Collection’. When selected, the albums open in Google Photos.  Over the coming months we hope to build up the collection with many more albums providing a unique and easily accessible educational resource.
