Roger Barrett is very knowledgeable about the history of Salcombe, the estuary and surrounding places. He gave the Kingsbridge Estuary Boat Club a fascinating talk about it and there is so much more information in the book. Excellently researched and beautifully presented – thoroughly recommended!
